There’s no reason to stop celebrating Doom‘s 30th anniversary yet as NVIDIA has announced a DOOM RTX 4090 giveaway. Doom turned 30 over the weekend on December 10, and NVIDIA has created a custom backplate featuring the iconic Doom Slayer jumping into action amid a horde of demons. Sadly enough there’s only one of these custom edition cards being given away as there are sure to be plenty of fans that would like to get their hands on one.

The rules are fairly simple. Go to the Doom30 and RTX500 threads on NVIDIA’s social channels and follow any instructions to comment, share, or link there. For those not aware RTX500 stands for NVIDIA also celebrating its own milestone achievement with over 500 games now supporting DLSS and RTX technologies. The sweepstakes began yesterday and all entries must be completed by December 18th. The lucky winner will be posted on NVIDIA’s website by January 31, 2024. NVIDIA has put a conservative value on the graphics card as $1,749, basically the FE MSRP, but given the current scarcity of RTX 4090 graphics cards and the return of inflated scalping prices combined with the uniqueness of this, the value for this card is likely much, much, higher. Ultimately though, most would probably agree that it sure would be nice if a fan were to win it and keep it.
