Focus Entertainment and studio Mundfish have announced that Trapped In Limbo, Atomic Heart’s second DLC, will be released for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game on February 6, 2024.

Here’s a description for the DLC, which is included with the Atomic Pass and features what appears to be new levels inspired by the pastel worlds of Candy Land:

Atomic Heart’s “Trapped in Limbo” DLC picks the story up immediately after the end of the main game, this time continuing a different ending from the one that the “Annihilation Instinct” DLC followed. It introduces new sections of the twisted Limbo world bursting with fan-favorite challenges, but this time with a unique Limbo flavor!

While diving into this wild new gameplay, players will be tasked with helping P-3 break through a series of dizzying obstacles, uncover the secrets of his past and the world of Limbo, and demolish unique-looking opponents with marvelous weapons in a combat extravaganza. In order to rise from the depths of Limbo to the top and free P-3’s mind from his demons, players will have to do everything they can to overcome the changed rules of the game.

The “Trapped in Limbo” DLC holds the key to finding out the fate of Major P-3, and it is up to players to survive in this enigmatic world with inverted logic. As they fight, run, jump and slide across the platforms, players will be collecting apples to unlock skills and weapons, as well as gold coins to unlock up to seven unique skins that can be equipped in the main campaign!

Atomic Heart and its two deluxe editions (i.e., Gold and Premium) are available at discounts of up to 50% on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam right now for those who haven’t jumped into Mundfish’s utopian FPS yet.

The Atomic Pass, which includes access to what will eventually be a total of four DLCs for Atomic Heart, is also on sale for $27.99 until December 21.

“Big booty robotic mommys,” reads a top-rated review by a Steam player.

“This game is fully understandable only to those who grew up in the post soviet country, especially Russia,” said another reviewer.
