Cooler Master is planning to expand its lineup of power supplies with a new “X SILENT” model that offers an output capacity of 1,100 watts despite leveraging a fanless design, according to new photos of the PSU that have made their way online ahead of CES 2024.

Here’s a shot of Cooler Master’s new X SILENT fanless 1,100-watt PSU from the FanlessTech account, which shows off what the inside of the unit looks like, including its heatsink configuration:

“Experience peak performance alongside the tranquility of silence with the Cooler Master X Silent PSUs,” Cooler Master said of its X SILENT series. “Featuring a fanless design which is optimized for rapid thermal dissipation for near silent performance.”

Cowcotland, a French tech site, actually had the privilege of visiting Cooler Master’s HQ in Taipei last month, where it was able to get an early look at the company’s new X SILENT fanless 1,100-watt PSU and their “absolutely huge” heatsinks:

As a point of comparison, Seasonic, one of the most popular PSU brands, appears to offer passive PSUs that only go up to 700 watts.
