Star Citizen players who have more money than they know what to do with can now purchase Legatus 2953, a new game package for Cloud Imperium Games’ crowd-funded, still-in-development space trading and combat simulator that offers over 175 ships for the relatively steep price of $48,000.

Here’s a description for the bundle that can be found on the Roberts Space Industries site, which is listed as being “in stock” at the time of this writing:

Ahead of all others, this definitive armada is an equal match to the noble title of Legatus Navium. Comprised of over 175 vessels from every manufacturer of note, this perfect collection, including all ships released and concepted through 2953, empowers every fleet commander to forge a lasting legacy, leading humanity towards a brighter future. (The Karna ‘Ascension’ Rifle will be available in-game in Q1 2024.)

Some of the ships that buyers should find include:

  • THE JAVELIN
    • Designed for use by the UEE military, the Javelin is a massive, modular capital ship that can be appropriated for entrepreneurial use. With a detailed interior, plenty of modular room options and a high crew capacity, the Javelin is a ship that has made a name for itself in a variety of roles.
  • THE PIONEER
    • After their auspicious debut with the Mustang, Consolidated Outland has gone and changed the game again with the reveal of the Pioneer. This self-contained mobile construction yard is capable of creating planetary modular structures, ushering a new wave of aspiring colonists to customize their new homes on the frontier.
  • THE 890 JUMP
    • With an elegant, sleek exterior that belies its spacious interior, the 890 Jump is a true engineering marvel; crafted to impress from every angle by combining a unique, innovative design with the finest materials and the most advanced technology. The result is a vessel that is in a class all of its own, a masterpiece worthy of the name ORIGIN.

Some of these ships are listed as being “in concept,” meaning that they are still being built and tested for implementation in-game, while others are “flight ready,” which presumably means they’ve been finalized.

Star Citizen is currently in the ‘Alpha’ stage of development, being created in partnership with a passionate, knowledgeable, and always-welcoming community,” CIG said.

“Each update to the game adds new features, technology, and gameplay that grow and evolve together with our key development partners – the players.”
