Overview of MSI GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Series Graphics Cards

SUPRIM

The SUPRIM card is designed for performance, efficiency, and prestige. Cooled with TRI FROZR 3S, MSI’s most advanced air cooling system, heat is effectively dissipated from critical board components with TORX FAN 5.0, up to 10 Core Pipes, Airflow Control fins featuring new Wave-curved 3.0 edges, and air antegrade fins. RTX 4080 SUPER based models also have a vapor chamber. Brushed aluminum on the exterior of the cooler and the backplate impart an armored aesthetic while reinforcing the length of the card. RGB Mystic Light flows with millions of colors and an array of customizable dynamic lighting options will dazzle onlookers. With Dual BIOS, users can quickly opt for low noise or for additional performance with the flick of a switch.

EXPERT

The EXPERT graphics card features a push-pull airflow design for enhanced cooling efficiency. The enclosure is constructed with Aluminum Die-Casting for structural strength, while Core Pipe and a Vapor Chamber work to efficiently dissipate heat. Lastly, a patented fan design provides quiet yet reliable airflow.

GAMING TRIO

GAMING TRIO is available in both black or white colors, carrying forth a familiar MSI look while maintaining the same great balance between performance, cooling, and low noise that gamers have come to trust. Leading this series is the TORX Fan 5.0 design with pairs of three fan blades bound together with an outer link, forming a rim that focuses airflow into the updated TRI FROZR 3 cooling system. On the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER models, a nickel-plated copper baseplate in the core of the heatsink quickly captures heat. The GAMING TRIO series is fitted with Dual BIOS to allow easy switching between Silent mode or Gaming mode for more performance. A brushed-metal backplate with flow-through design reinforces the graphics card, while also providing passive cooling action through the implementation of thermal pads. Mystic Light adorns the exterior of the graphics card, illuminating color in synchrony with the rest of the PC through Mystic Light Sync and Ambient Link.

GAMING SLIM

GAMING SLIM is available in both black and white versions, embodying GAMING characteristics with bold lines, clean edges, and RGB hues on a sleek appearance. Despite its slim profile, the GAMING SLIM’s advanced thermal capability isn’t compromised, utilizing much of the same TRI FROZR 3 cooling system as the GAMING TRIO including TORX FAN 5.0, a nickel-plated copper baseplate, and a metal backplate with a flow-through opening.

VENTUS

The VENTUS series provides a reliable and cost-effective option for gamers with a price-performance-focused approach. Built with a no-frills Spartan design philosophy, VENTUS 3X and VENTUS 2X maintain the essentials to accomplish any task at hand. The graphics cards come with award-winning TORX Fan 4.0, a reinforcing backplate, and a well-rounded aesthetic suitable for any build. VENTUS 2X WHITE cards feature an all new white and silver exterior variant of the original which fits in great with white themed builds.

Project ZERO

MSI is also unveiling PROJECT ZERO today, a new family of hardware products that is aimed toward customers who are seeking a cleaner look, with less fewer visible cables.

MEG MAESTRO 700L PZ Chassis

Press release:

The process of assembling a computer is a great joy for gamers, but cable management can be complex and troublesome. MSI’s newly introduced PROJECT ZERO series aims to eliminate these issues. The PROJECT ZERO motherboards relocate most of the cable connectors to the back of the motherboard, allowing cables to hide behind it. This not only enhances the cleanliness and aesthetics in the front but also reduces the difficulty of cable management, making the assembly an enjoyable experience. At the same time, we have introduced the PROJECT ZERO compatible chassis that complements the design philosophy, emphasizing simplicity and elegance when used together.

The PROJECT ZERO series motherboards feature a silver-white design with an extensive heatsink, exuding a clean and sleek appearance. You can choose from a variety of chipset options: Z790 PROJECT ZERO, an ATX motherboard with a 14+1 Duet Rail Power System, Lightning Gen 5 PCIe slot, 4 x M.2 slots, and Wi-Fi 7. B760M PROJECT ZERO, a Micro-ATX motherboard with a 12+1 Duet Rail Power System, Lightning Gen 5 PCIe slot, 2 x M.2 slots, and Wi-Fi 6E. B650M PROJECT ZERO features a 10 + 2 direct out power system, Lightning Gen 4 PCIe slot, 2 x M.2 slots, and Wi-Fi 6E.

Regarding traditional motherboards that have all connectors in the front, PROJECT ZERO’s Back-connect design overturns this by relocating most connectors to the back, simplifying cable management and connections. Retaining accessible installation points for the CPU, DRAM, and SSD in the front that achieves a balance between ease of use and aesthetics. This design aims to lower the barrier for users assembling their PCs, making it a simple and enjoyable process. The products with Back-Connect designs are not limited to MSI but represent a collaborative direction with multiple chassis brands to pursue together.

Back-Connect motherboards require a specific Back-Connect compatible chassis which MSI has launched the MAG PANO M100 PZ series chassis that supports Micro-ATX motherboards, available in black and white. The 270-degree tempered glass design and Reverse-blade fans allow for viewing the clean interior from multiple angles, with ample space for cable management, enabling users to easily build their unique PCs.

The new MEG MAESTRO 700L PZ chassis is also compatible with the MSI ATX Back-connect motherboard and general EATX motherboards. The one-piece curved tempered glass and aluminum unibody through the NCT machined contribute to the PC case as an art craft. Its dual chamber design benefits not only the thermal but also the enlarging space for cable management. MEG MAESTRO 700L PZ is a limited edition and will be available soon.

Additionally, MSI has confirmed that its AM5 and AM4 motherboards now support the newest Ryzen 8000 and 5000 Series processors.
