New comments from Dom Matthews, Studio Head at Ninja Theory:

  • “if you loved Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, or if you enjoy narrative-led experiences of cinematic immersion, we are building Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II for you.”
  • “…a game similar in length to the first Hellblade, with a focused narrative, and sold digital-only at a price of $49.99 USD.”
  • “…join Senua in understanding her world through perception puzzles led by her experiences of psychosis, in brutal and visceral combat and in traversal gameplay, this time across the harsh but beautiful landscapes of 10th Century Iceland.”
  • “…we have increased the breadth of our localization to 26 subtitled languages – including Arabic, Ukrainian and, of course, the language of the land of our journey: Icelandic!”

Game description:

The sequel to the award winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Senua returns in a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland. Intent on saving those who have fallen victim to the horrors of tyranny, Senua faces a battle of overcoming the darkness within and without.

Sink deep into the next chapter of Senua’s story, a crafted experience told through cinematic immersion, beautifully realised visuals and encapsulating sound.
