NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready 551.23 WHQL Driver Adds Support for GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX Video HDR

NVIDIA has announced that the new GeForce Game Ready 551.23 driver is now available to download from the Drivers tab of GeForce Experience or GeForce.com. The new driver adds support for the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, which is available beginning today, as well as RTX Video HDR, a new AI-enhanced HDR feature that GeForce RTX users can use to instantly convert SDR videos in select browsers to HDR. Users will also find game support for a few new titles. Full release notes here.

  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Gaming tech:

  • Adds support for GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER
  • Adds support for RTX Video HDR
  • Adds support for “Auto” setting for RTX Video Super Resolution
  • Adds support for NVIDIA Ultra Low Latency Mode with DirectX 12 titles

How to enable RTX Video HDR:

  • Download and install the newest available Game Ready or Studio Ready driver
  • Ensure Windows’ HDR features are enabled in System Display HDR
  • Open the NVIDIA Control Panel by right clicking your desktop
  • Navigate to Adjust Video Image Settings on the left nav of the app
  • Tick “Super Resolution” and “High Dynamic Range”
  • Open any of the aforementioned apps and watch a SDR video

Fixed gaming bugs:

  • Forza Horizon 4: Ansel/ Freestyle filters cause application to freeze or crash [4253513]

Fixed general bugs:

  • RTX 4060 Ti: Display may randomly flicker with a black bar on the top of the screen when using desktop apps [4239893]
  • Horizontal band may appear when cloning a G-SYNC display to HDMI monitor [4103923/4343427]
