Dealabs’ billbil-kun has learned that Until Dawn is coming to the PS5 and PC. These new ports of the interactive horror drama, which Supermassive Games released exclusively for the PS4 in August 2015, could supposedly be announced in as little as 15 days.

Highlights:

  • In development for at least a year
  • Ports will retain the original title of Until Dawn
  • Unclear whether it’s a remaster or remake
  • Release date is also unknown
  • Will presumably launch before the Until Dawn movie, which was announced last week
  • May be unveiled during an upcoming State of Play event alongside the Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding sequel, which is reportedly titled Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

Game description:

Eight friends are trapped together on a remote mountain retreat, and they aren’t alone. Gripped by dread, with tensions running high, they must fight through their fear if they all hope to make it through the night in one piece.

Play as each of the eight characters and experience fear like you never have before. Every decision you make in your terrifying search for answers could mean the difference between life and death, but for whom? Your actions alone will decide who survives Until Dawn.

If we refer to the title of this new version, we can imagine that it will perhaps and only be a graphical improvement of the game using the latest graphical advances on PS5 as well as on PC. We can therefore decide, without risking being mistaken, that it will be at least a remastered version.
