14th Gen Intel Core i9-14900KS with 6.2 GHz Boost Clock Arrives in March: Report

Intel is planning to release the Core i9-14900KS as early as next month, according to a new report that echoes some of the specifications that were recently leaked for Intel’s latest, Raptor Lake-S Refresh-based Special Edition processor. Those would include a 6.2 GHz boost clock, and while pricing is unknown, the current flagship carries an MSRP of $589.

The Intel Core i9-12900KS will be launched on April 5, 2022, and the Intel Core i9-13900KS will be launched on January 12, 2023. According to our reliable sources, Intel plans to launch the Intel Core i9 in mid-March 2024. -14900KS is a limited-edition processor with a clock speed of 6.20GHz, but we cannot yet confirm whether it will be sold to a specific system vendor or a specific channel.

The 6.00 GHz is increased to 6.20GHz, which also increases the TDP (Thermal Design Power) of the entire processor from 125W to 150W. …the news did not disclose the Maximum Turbo Power, which is the PL2 power consumption, but it is believed that it should be higher than the current 253W.
