MSI has permanently lowered the MSRPs for three of its new MPG QD-OLED ahead of launch, according to new pricing information shared by the Monitors Unboxed channel. Those would include the 321URX, a new “sweet spot” monitor that features a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED panel with support for refresh rates of up to 240 Hz.

Updated MSI MPG QD-OLED monitor pricing:

  • 321URX QD-OLED 32″: US $949.99
  • 271QRX QD-OLED 27″: US $799.99
  • 491CQP QD-OLED 49″: US $1,099.99

Monitors Unboxed on the change:

I’ve gotten a second update from MSI regarding the MSRP of their QD-OLEDs. They have decided to change their mind and offer their previously lowered pricing permanently, instead of just as an introductory price.

Complaints on the MSI Forum would suggest that the changes are region-specific:

  • “The MSI 32″ MPG 321URX is £1300 in the UK making it $1638 meanwhile in the US the monitor is $949, making it £753…”
  • “Why would i buy this monitor over an alienware which is £980…”
  • “…the asus is only £40 more expensive than the MSI which better features to support that price”
  • “If this was under £1000 (Which would still make you way more money than in the US ) it would be a no brainer buy for me.”

MSI on the 321URX QD-OLED:

Visualize your victory with the MPG 321URX QD-OLED gaming monitor. It boasts a 3840×2160 (UHD) next-gen QD-OLED panel, 240Hz refresh rate, and rapid 0.03ms(GtG) response time. VESA certification for ClearMR 13000 and DisplayHDR True Black 400 ensures exceptionally vivid images and mitigates motion blur. OLED Care 2.0 reduces OLED burn-in risks. For console gamers, the MPG 321URX QD-OLED provide HDMI 2.1 ports with 48Gbps bandwidth, 120Hz support, VRR, and ALLM.
