AMD Is Reportedly Planning “Medusa” Ryzen CPUs with Zen 6 Cores and RDNA 5 Graphics

AMD is developing client CPUs with Zen 6 cores under the “Medusa” codename, some of which will feature RDNA 5-based iGPUs, according to new rumors shared by the @Olrak_29 account. These next-next-generation CPUs are rumored to release by late 2025/early 2026.

@Olrak_29 tweeted:

  • “Medusa has RDNA 5 iGPU, skipping RDNA 4”
  • “Medusa is the codename of Zen 6 client”
  • “Medusa will use 2.5D interconnect with a much higher bandwidth”

  • Zen 6 CPU Architecture (expected 2 nm)
  • Morpheus CPU cores
