FSR 3 Has Officially Arrived in Starfield, and AMD Is Giving Away a Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Ryzen 7 7800X3D to Celebrate

AMD FSR 3 has officially arrived in Starfield as part of the 1.9.67 update that was rolled out for all versions of the game on February 20, and to celebrate, AMD has launched a new sweepstakes that will allow one winner to receive a special-edition Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card and Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU inspired by Bethesda’s space-faring RPG. The full giveaway rules, which includes eligibility details (e.g., all participants must be at least 18), can be found here.

  • AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU ($499)

Giveaway period:

  • Starts: Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at approximately 12:00 p.m.
  • Ends: Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at approximately 12:00 p.m.

How to enter on X/Twitter:

During the Giveaway Period, log in to your Twitter account and “Follow” @StarfieldGame, located at https://www.twitter.com/StarfieldGame, and reply to the official giveaway post with an image in accordance with the prompt on the giveaway post. In order for your entry to be valid, your Twitter account must be public and thus viewable by the Sponsor and its agents.

  • GRAPHICS
    • Added support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3). (PC)
    • Added support for Intel Xe Super Sampling (XeSS). (PC)
    • Fixed an issue that could make the clouds appear to vibrate when using DLSS performance mode. (PC)
    • Fixed minor visual artifact that could occur when aiming with a weapon or task swapping.
  • STABILITY
    • Changed how FormIDs are freed when loading saves. This should improve stability for saves that have visited many locations.
    • Fixed a crash that could happen when making changes to the ship that required all items to be moved to the cargo bay in the Ship Builder menu.
  • MISCELLANEOUS
    • Reverted a change that caused the data menu to open when taking screenshots with F12 (PC)
    • Fixed an issue causing the resolution scale to reset to 1.0 when switching from Fullscreen to Windowed mode when using DLSS. (PC)
