Introduction

The AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT was launched on September 6th, 2023 providing RDNA 3 graphics performance for gaming on the PC aiming at the 1080p gaming experience. The Radeon RX 7700 XT is a partner-driven video card, meaning there is no made-by-AMD card, it is up to add-in-board partners (AIBs) to provide Radeon RX 7700 XT’s, and also create multiple SKUs of specifications under the banner of keeping close to AMD’s suggested retail pricing as possible.

The Radeon RX 7700 XT initially had an MSRP (suggest pricing) of $449, meaning it was just $50 shy of the Radeon RX 7800 XT at $499. This $50 difference, confused many, with pricing being so close. Well, that has now been resolved, now 5 months later, AMD is officially dropping the suggested pricing on the Radeon RX 7700 XT to $419 starting February 26th, 2024.

AMD Has This To Say:

Gamers looking for an incredible high-performance, feature-rich graphics card to power demanding games and content creation applications can take advantage of new pricing for the AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT graphics card – enabling pricing as low as $419 USD SEP, over $30 less than original SEP, beginning on Monday, Feb. 26.

AMD Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards offer incredible value and features, including:

  • Pure Performance â€“ More pure performance in popular games.
  • AMD Fluid Motion Frames Technology â€“ The driver-based AMD Fluid Motion Framesframe generation technology increases FPS to deliver a massive performance improvement and smooth gameplay in thousands of games.
  • AMD HYPR-RX Technology â€“ AMD HYPR-RX technology simplifies and manages the simultaneous interoperation of AMD Fluid Motion Frames, AMD Radeon Super Resolution (RSR), AMD Radeon Boost and AMD Anti-Lag technologies to achieve a performance-stacking effect, making it easy for users to maximize performance in games.
  • Features for the Future â€“ AMD Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards provide support for next-gen DisplayPort 2.1 and offer more VRAM than competing solutions to power the most demanding games and cutting-edge displays of today and tomorrow.”

There has never been a better time for gamers to consider AMD Radeon for their next graphics card purchase!

Summary

At $419 the Radeon RX 7700 XT offers a better value than it did and will compete with 8GB GeForce RTX 4060 Ti video cards, competing by offering 12GB of VRAM in this price class. Make sure to check online pricing, as it will fluctuate in the short term, as these prices become adjusted. At $419, there is now greater separation between the Radeon RX 7700 XT and Radeon RX 7800 XT, as it should have been all along. Make sure to check out all of our Radeon RX 7700 XT reviews here.

As we look at NewEgg this morning, there are already two cards at this new lower price, an XFX at $419 and an ASRock at $429 with a $10 off promo code and Amazon has the XFX card as well at $419.
