The free tier of GeForce NOW, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service, will soon begin showing ads to players as they wait for their games to start, an NVIDIA spokesperson has confirmed. These ads will last for up to two minutes and are not included in the Priority and Ultimate tiers of the service, which cost $9.99/month and $19.99/month, respectively.
Coming to GeForce NOW’s free tier:
- Ads begin rolling out on March 5
- Video ads will last “up to two minutes”
- Advertisements will play during queues before a gaming session
