The PC version of Alan Wake 2 will be getting a new update later this week that lowers the minimum GPU specs of the survival horror game to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 and AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT GPUs, Remedy Entertainment has announced. Digital Foundry has published a video that shows off what players can expect from the new patch, including what appears to be huge FPS increases for GeForce GTX 1080 Series cards.

I was gonna post the DF video then I saw it was in the article. Here's the written article to go along with it: https://www.eurogamer.net/digitalfoundry-2024-upcoming-alan-wake-2-patch-drastically-improves-gtx-10-series-performance
A friend told me he had a lot of issues trying to get the game to run on his 1080 Ti. I told him he might wanna revisit the game after this new patch comes out.
