Ubisoft has shared its post-launch roadmap for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, revealing all of the major (and free) updates that Ubisoft Montpellier’s Metroidvania-like, 2.5D action-adventure game will be getting in the months ahead. Warrior’s Path. a free update that adds new modes to the game, will be available this month, while new story DLC is expected later this year.
The roadmap includes:
- Warrior’s Path (March 24)
- Speedrun Mode
- Permadeath Mode
- New Sargon Outfits
- Boss Attack (Spring 24)
- Boss Rush
- New Sargon Outfits
- Divine Trials (Summer 2024)
- New Combat, platform, and puzzle challenges
- New amulets, Sargon outfits, and more
- New Story DLC (Later in 2024)
Ubisoft on the new content:
The March 20 update, titled Warrior’s Path, will add speedrun and permadeath modes, as well as four new outfits for Sargon. Later this spring, it’ll be followed by the Boss Attack update, which adds a boss rush challenge in addition to more outfits. The Divine Trials update will follow this summer, adding new combat, platform, and puzzle challenges, along with new Amulets, outfits, and more. The new storyline will debut later this year as paid DLC, and will introduce new environments and enemies for Sargon to confront.
