Embracer Sells Saber Interactive for $247 Million, Exits Russian Market

Embracer Group has officially sold off Saber Interactive to Beacon Interactive, a company controlled by Saber Interactive co-founder Matthew Karch, for $247 million USD, according to a new presentation with Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors that is now viewable online. Embracer is also ceasing all operations in Russia as part of the divestment, while the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake, which remains in development at developer Saber Interactive, is reportedly no longer Embracer’s concern.
