NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Crashes During PGL’s Prestigious Counter-Strike 2 Tournament: “Technical Malfunction”

A Counter-Strike 2 player had suffered a “devastating” loss during the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 when his NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080-powered gaming PC crashed during a decision round, esports company PGL has revealed. The news comes a few weeks after PGL revealed its “optimized gaming configuration for peak performance” for its prestigious CS2 tournament, which included NVIDIA’s $1,199 GPU.
