PO’d, a DOOM– and Quake-inspired boomer shooter that originally launched for Panasonic, GoldStar, Sanyo, Creative Labs, and Samsung’s 3DO consoles nearly 30 years ago in November 1995, will officially be making its way to PC and modern consoles “soon” as part of a new Definitive Edition that brings updated visuals, antialiasing, increased framerate, redefined controls, up to 4K 144 FPS performance, widescreen support, and more to Any Channel’s FPS, developer Nightdive Studios has announced. Players take control of a chef who has crash landed on an alien planet, armed with a cooking pan, power drill, “Meat Seeker,” and other weapons.
