Halo 2 won’t be celebrating its 20th birthday until later this year, but Dark Horse is getting ahead of the festivities with the Halo 2: Master Chief 20th Anniversary Statue, a new statue that features John-117 firing the BR55 Battle Rifle, one of Halo’s more iconic weapons, originally introduced as a successor to the fan-favorite M6 pistol in the sequel that launched exclusively for the first Xbox on November 9, 2004. Designed in collaboration with developer 343 Industries, the statue was inspired by one of Halo 2’s earliest pieces of key art, drawn by Bungie concept artist Craig Mullins.

Dark Horse on the statue:

Complete with LED lights within the explosion and tip of the gunfire, this 9” wide by 8.5” tall statue–much like the Master Chief himself–will be a beacon of light and hope to a universe at war. Despite the chaos happening around him, the Master Chief keeps his cool demeanor under his helmet as he fires off a shot at an unseen Covenant enemy while careening into the unknown.
