Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition 1.1.47.0 Patch Delivers Various Optimizations and a Fix for NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation

Patch 1.1.47.0, a new update for Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition that contains various optimizations, bug fixes, and stability improvements for the PC version of Guerrilla Games’ action-adventure game, is now available, developer and port expert Nixxes Software has announced. Guerrilla and Nixxes have noted that they are closely monitoring player reports and are actively working on future patches, which will include even more bug fixes and optimizations for the game.

Patch notes:

  • Remapping TAB now works correctly.
  • Added HUD Widescreen Scale options to the settings menu.
  • Various optimizations and stability improvements.
  • Custom difficulty settings now work correctly.
  • Improved Shieldwing responsiveness when using mouse and keyboard controls.
  • Fixed graphic corruption on waterfalls when using DLSS Frame Generation.
  • Fixed lighting issues that could occur in Tenakth settlements.
  • Master Vibration Intensity for DualSense controllers no longer resets with each game session.
  • HDR settings have been moved to the display menu to allow live viewing of changes.
  • The option to disable letterboxing in cinematics when using ultra-wide aspect ratios is now also available from the launcher.
  • Fixed visual issues with save previews when HDR is enabled.
  • Various minor UI fixes.

No ETA yet on AMD FSR 3 yet, but Nixxes has confirmed that it’s coming:

Unlocked frame rates, ultra-wide support up to 48:9 resolutions and performance-enhancing technologies including NVIDIA DLSS 3 AI-powered upscaling and frame generation allow PC players to experience Aloy’s journey in its full glory on compatible hardware. NVIDIA DLAA is available to help maximize image quality. The game also comes with NVIDIA Reflex, reducing system latency and improving gameplay responsiveness. Intel XeSS and AMD FSR 2.2 upscaling is also supported. The team at Nixxes is working on an update to add AMD FSR 3 with frame generation.
