Intel Discontinues Select 13th Gen Core “Raptor Lake” CPUs, including Core i9-13900K

Select boxed 13th generation Intel Core processors, including the flagship Core i9-13900KS and Core i9-13900K models, have officially been discontinued, according to a new Product Change Notification document that Intel shared last month explaining how these products have now reached end of life. Intel launched the first of these CPUs, codenamed Raptor Lake, in October 2022.

Key dates shared by Intel:

  • Product Discontinuance Program Support Begins: March 21, 2024
  • Last Product Discontinuance Order Date: May 24, 2024
  • Orders are Non-Cancelable and Non-Returnable After: May 24, 2024
  • Last Product Discontinuance Shipment Date: June 28, 2024

  • Boxed Intel Core i7-13700KF Processor
  • Boxed Intel Core i9-13900KS Processor

Intel on the Core i9-13900KS, which launched in January 2023 with 6.0 GHz speeds out of the box:

The unlocked i9-13900KS processor represents a major milestone in the PC industry – bringing faster speeds than before to enthusiast desktop users.
