AMD is expanding its lineup of Ryzen CPUs today with the Ryzen PRO 8040 Series and Ryzen PRO 8000 Series, new CPUs that are said to deliver exceptional productivity and premium AI and connectivity experiences to business users. The former target business laptops and mobile workstations, while the latter are being marketed as the first AI-enabled desktop processors for business users.

These processors boast up to eight high-performance cores, advanced 4nm technology, and “Zen 4” architecture offering up to a combined 30% greater performance for the most demanding mobile workstation applications.
