TEKKEN 8 has revealed its new roadmap at EVO Japan 2024, and with it comes the news that Lidia Sobieski will be the fighter’s next playable DLC character, following Brazilian capoeira master Eddy Gordo, who joined the roster for Bandai Namco’s game earlier this month. New balance updates for TEKKEN 8 are also coming in the spring, while a new stage, photo mode, new story mode (involving Eddy), and more will be dropping in the months ahead.
The new roadmap:
Starting this spring, adjustments to the battle system will be made as the development team continues to work on improving balance and player experience. Players will receive a big free update this summer, including the “Seaside Resort” summer-themed stage as well as Photo Mode. In autumn, as another free update, a brand-new story will be added featuring Eddy Gordo. Also announced were additional modes Ghost vs. Ghost and Online Practice, which will be added at a later date.
