Immortals of Aveum, the first-person “magic shooter” from Electronic Arts that allows players to wield over 20 spells as a thief who joins an elite order of battlemages to save their titular world, is officially the first console game to support AMD FSR 3, the latest iteration of red team’s performance-enhancing game technology, according to a new blog post from developer Ascendant Studios that can confirm a new update has been rolled out for the 2023 title, now also available via Xbox Game Pass and EA Play. The new patch, which is out for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, introduces not only Frame Generation to the console versions of the game, but also HDR support on all platforms for more dynamic visuals.
Immortals of Aveum now features:
- HDR on all platforms
- AMD FSR 3 with Frame Generation on all platforms
- FSR 3 support for VRR displays on all platforms
- Improvements to FSR 3 on PC
- New endgame objectives and boss battle in “The Echollector” gameplay update
- New Game +
- Tougher challenges in the new “Grand Magnus” difficulty mode
- Key fixes to DLSS
- Improvements to mouse settings, such as mouse sensitivity
- Console brightness adjustments and added a Gamma Correction slider
- Tons of other performance improvements, bug fixes, and game enhancements
