NVIDIA continues to hold a dominant market share in the AIB GPU market, according to a new research report from leading analyst firm Jon Peddie Research (JPR) that shows how the company behind GeForce graphics for gamers and some of today’s biggest AI innovations now represents 88% of the market—an 8% increase versus the previous quarter. AMD, whose upcoming products include the Ryzen 9000 Series, had a market share of 12% for the quarter (a decrease of 7%), while Intel with the Arc A770 and A750 remained flat with 0%.

The first quarter is typically flat to down compared to the previous quarter. This quarter, shipments were down by -7.9. This slip in shipments was predicted and shows that after a few turbulent years due to the pandemic, the graphics card market is seeing a return to seasonality.
