Sony Rewards, a rewards program that allows Sony and PlayStation Visa cardholders to redeem points for various items, including PlayStation Store Gift Cards and gaming apparel, such as God of War and Uncharted t-shirts, is ending on December 31, 2024, Sony has announced. Members have been encouraged to spend their points before this date, as any unredeemed points remaining in the account will be forfeited at the end of the year.
An updated FAQ from Sony reads:
- “The Sony Rewards program will end on December 31, 2024, which is the last day to redeem points in the Sony Rewards catalog and access your account.”
- “The Sony Rewards website and mobile application (“mobile app”) will no longer be available after that date.”
- “Please review Changes to the Terms and Conditions, effective June 20, 2024, which apply to the Sony Rewards program from now until it ends. ”
- “Sony and PlayStation Visa Credit Cardholders will receive further information from Comenity Bank regarding changes to the credit card programs. “
