We wandered over to the TaiNEX2 exhibit hall at Computex (across the street from TaiNEX1, where most of the action is) to take a look at what Thermalright was showing off this year. We broke the ice by talking about how the Thermalright SK6 was the first product we had used from them back in the day (Ed: Does that predate the guy you were talking to?) and went on to get an understanding of Thermalright’s current market initiatives. In short, they are focusing on bringing high performance cooling to below current-market prices to disrupt the cooling industry as it stands today.
Thermalright seemed to bring everything and the kitchen sink, including products that are on the market as well as products that will be coming to the market. Let’s dive into a few of the highlights:
Hyper Vision AIO CPU Coolers

On the water cooling front, Thermalright launching its Hyper Vision AIO CPU cooler that sports a 3.95″ LCD screen operating at a 480×480 resolution. It integrates with its TRCC software suite that allows editing the theme of the screen and the content on it. The screen connects via USB-C to ease the pain of proprietary connectors that can be common with these screened AIOs.
New Thermalright Air Coolers

Thermalright brought a full complement of coolers to display, including its current Peerless and Burst Assassin lines that are currently available, along with a number of upcoming products. The dog appears to have eaten our more detailed photos, so we’ll roll with a quick description of the coming soon items:
- Royal Pretor 130: A full soldered premium 6 heat pipe air cooler, with dual 28mm thickness fan.
- Royal Pretor 130 Ultra: A full soldered premium 7 heat pipe air cooler, with one 28mm thickness fan at middle of fin tower and one TL-K12 at the front.
- Peerless Assassin 140: Base on the design of PA120, but with much larger fin area and 140mm fan at middle. It will have a similar price as PA120.
- Royal Knight 120: A offset design 6 heat pipe dual tower heatsink comes with 15mm thickness fan at RAM side to offer 100% RAM compatibility.
- Burst Assassin 120 Vision: 6 heat pipe heatsink base on Burst Assassin 120 EVO, now comes with new 2.4inch full customizable screen on top. Features push and pull dual fan setup for lower noise and better aesthetic.
- Assassin Spirit 120 Vision: 4 heat pipe entry heatsink with premium top cover and new 1.54 inch full customizable screen on top. It has offset design for non-fan remove easy install as well.
Thermalright Power Supplies

Thermalright is jumping into the power supply business with a line of offerings produced in both black and white color schemes as well as SFX form factor variants. They are not quite yet available here in the US, but we got the impression that availability would be happening soon. There are two different OEMs being utilized to build the supplies – one being Channel Well Technology (the AG series appears to be CWT) and the other being Dongguan Sanr Electronics (for everything else we saw – TG and TPFX series).
Final Points

Thermalright is building out a full line of its wares across the PC component space and all the new products should be hitting the market in the near future. We plan on covering some of these in our reviews, so stay tuned as we get our hands on their kit.
