Intel Arrow Lake and Panther Lake CPUs to Launch with Higher Max Thermal Junction Temperature, It’s Claimed

Arrow Lake and Panther Lake, two new series of next-generation processors that are currently in development at Intel, may run even hotter than their predecessors, according to new rumors that claim these CPUs will feature a Tjunction max temperature of 105°C. This is 5°C higher than Intel’s current lineup, including Raptor Lake, whose CPUs list a Tjunction temp of 100°C among their specification sheets.

Tjunction max values in recent generations include:

  • Panther Lake: 105°C
  • Arrow Lake: 105°C
  • Lunar Lake: 100°C
  • Meteor Lake: 100°C
  • Raptor Lake: 100°C
