The DualSense, a wireless PS5 controller that Sony Interactive Entertainment launched in November 2020 to complement its latest video game console, featuring haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and other premium features, have received a price increase, according to updated listings from retailers that include not only Best Buy, but also Sony’s own PlayStation Direct store. Sterling Silver, Volcanic Red, and Cobalt Blue are now priced at $79.99, $5 higher than the $74.99 MSRP that they were introduced at in September last year, while the standard DualSense in White, Starlight Blue, Galactic Purple, Cosmic Red, Midnight Black, and Gray Camouflage now costs $74.99 instead of $69.99.
