Porsche Design and AGON by AOC have unveiled the PD34 gaming monitor for those seeking a feature-packed high-quality premium display. The PD34 checks off a lot of boxes when it comes to modern gaming displays but does come at a premium price of $1,300. The 34″ WQHD (3440×1440) 21:9 1800R panel has a 240 Hz refresh rate and supports VRR. There do seem to be some discrepancies between the press release (via TechPowerUp) and its UK product page so those interested should contact AGON by AOC, and the US Porsche Design site before attempting to purchase. The press release also appears to have mixed-in specifications for the larger 49″ model as well. That being said there are still enough details to report on indicating the PD34 could be a good choice for those seeking high refresh rates combined with impressive visual quality.
Porsche Design and AGON by AOC have included 2 x 8W speakers that support DTS and a headphone jack for audio. The peak brightness of 1000 nits plus a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification on a QD-OLED panel which supports 1.07 billion colors, covering 100% of sRGB, 99% of AdobeRGB, and 99% of the cinema-grade DCI-P3 color space is sure to provide exceptional image quality.
