ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero Motherboard Propels AMD Ryzen 9950X “Zen 5” CPU to 7.54 GHz and Sets Five Global First-Place Records

The ROG Crosshair X870E Hero, a flagship AM5 motherboard for AMD Ryzen 9000 Series “Zen 5” processors that ASUS unveiled during August’s Gamescom 2024 event with several unique features, including NitroPath DRAM—a revolutionary DRAM slot design—has scored several new first-place records, including one that was achieved after overclocker Elmor took an AMD Ryzen 9950X CPU to 7.54 GHz, according to a new blog post that ASUS has shared. The motherboard, which appears to be retailing for $699.99, features what ASUS says is a massive VRM, one that advertises 18+2+2 power stages.
