Evasion Eagle, or, more simply, Evasionborn, a ridiculously overpowered build for Vessel of Hatred’s new Spiritborn class that allows players to literally blow through Helltides, The Pit, and practically every other challenge in Diablo IV due to its ability to evade infinitely while launching demon-seeking projectiles without any cooldown, is being nerfed because it is “impairing” the experience of other players in the game, according to the latest news shared by Adam Fletcher, Global Director of Community for all things Diablo. Fletcher, who posted about the build via X on Monday, mentioned that Blizzard will be “fixing” Evasionborn because its speed is due to a bug, one that will be addressed in a patch that will be coming as early as tomorrow. A good look at the build comes by way of Wudijo, a popular Diablo IV creator and contributor on Maxroll.
We…looked at the Spiritborn’s Evade cast animations that some are employing in specific builds. This is a bug as the Spiritborn is able to break animation frames during Evade immediately. We will be fixing this so you won’t be able to Evade instantly during another one, and instead it will be normalized to the standard Evade cast rate in all situations.
