The Steam Controller 2, a sequel to the original peripheral that Valve launched for PC gamers in November 2015, is currently in development with several new features and improvements, including symmetrical thumbsticks and updated track pads, according to a mockup of the controller that has surfaced online. The photo, which can be seen below, was shared after an insider suggested that an announcement for the controller (code-named “Ibex”) could be coming soon, as it’s already “being tooled for a mass production goal in their factories right now.” “Roy” a new VR controller that features a D-pad, shoulder buttons, ABXY buttons, and more, is also seemingly in development.
