Gameplay Performance 1080p

On this page, we are going to focus on the 1080p gameplay performance of the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC video card. We will include upscaling utilizing XeSS, DLSS, and FSR on the appropriate video cards (XeSS for Intel, FSR for AMD, and DLSS for NVIDIA). Ray Tracing will be shown on a separate page to follow. For the comparison cards, we have chosen a series of video cards that sit in the same price range as the video card being reviewed, thus comparing video cards that are segmented in the same price range, this way you can see what an upgrade to the Intel Arc A750 in this price segment will bring over previous cards, as an upgrade option.

Alan Wake 2

Alan Wake 2 1080p

In Alan Wake 2, we are running at 1080p with the highest quality settings enabled. The ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC performs the same, with both a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Ryzen 5 7600 CPU in this game, at these settings at 1080p. We find that the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is 8% faster than the last generation Intel Arc A750 video card, as well as the Radeon RX 6600 XT in performance. The ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is a large 30% improvement over the Radeon RX 6600, and a larger 41% over the GeForce RTX 3050.

Black Myth: Wukong

Black Myth Wukong 1080p

In Black Myth: Wukong, we are running the game at the High preset, which is not the highest settings, it is a couple of steps down. At the High setting, the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is playable at 60FPS, as long as you are using a high-performance CPU like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. On the Ryzen 5 7600, the performance dropped by 39% and now performs under the Radeon RX 6600 XT. With the 9800X3D, the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is 39% faster than the Radeon RX 6600 XT, which is quite a big jump in performance. This puts it at 65% faster than the Radeon RX 6600 and the previous generation Intel Arc A750, which performed rather poorly in this game. It’s also 97% faster than the GeForce RTX 3050.

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 1080p

In Cyberpunk 2077, the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is playable at 1080p and Ultra settings with a high 85FPS. Here, the CPU did not make a difference, it performed the same on the 9800X3D or 7600. At 85FPS the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is 17% faster than the previous generation Intel Arc A750 and Radeon RX 6600 XT. It is 40% faster than the Radeon RX 6600 and 66% faster than the GeForce RTX 3050.

Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon Forbidden West 1080p

In Horizon Forbidden West, the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC also performs the same between both CPUs. The ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is a very large 44% faster than the previous generation Intel Arc A750 video card. We actually see all the other video cards do pretty poorly in this game, and the reason for that is that they are hitting VRAM limitations with 8GB on board. The ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC with 10GB, is able to utilize its performance potential because it has more VRAM. It really makes a big difference in this game, even at 1080p. The ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is playable, the other video cards are not, they even lose some performance with upscaling due to the greater VRAM demand.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle 1080p

In our first Indiana Jones and the Great Circle graph, we are testing the game at the “Ultra” quality setting, to show a performance result we experienced in one setting, but not another. Also, the GeForce RTX 3050 is not included because it crashed each and every time we tried any quality setting above “Medium” on it, but the other cards worked fine. At “Ultra” settings, notice that the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is faster with the 9800X3D CPU, and it does lose about 10% performance with the Ryzen 5 7600. This doesn’t happen on a lower setting, as you’ll see below. At any rate, the game is playable on the 9800X3D, but not the 7600. The ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is on par with the Arc A750 with the 7600 CPU, but with the 9800X3D the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is 15% faster than the Arc A750.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle 1080p

In this second performance graph, we have now lowered the game down to the “High” quality preset. Interestingly, the performance between the CPUs is now the same, the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC performs exactly the same on the 9800X3D or 7600 at the “High” setting, and the game is very playable at 60FPS on either one. This puts the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC at being 16% faster than the previous generation Intel Arc A750. It also whips the other cards at 133% faster! Those cards may also be experiencing a VRAM limitation in this game as well.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

Stalker 2 1080p

In Stalker 2, we are running the game on the “High” preset, which allowed the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC to be playable at 1080p at 60FPS… that is, with the 9800X3D CPU. With the Ryzen 5 7600, the Intel Arc B570 does lose performance by 20%, and it is not playable at these settings without Upscaling. It’s still better than the competition with the 7600 CPU, but not as impressive. With the 9800X3D, the ASRock Challenger Arc B570 10GB OC is 58% faster than the Intel Arc A750 and 84% faster than the GeForce RTX 3050.
