The Phanteks Evolv X2 is designed to show off your PC build while providing optimal cooling with a touch of class. Tri-panel glass designs have become quite popular among ATX chassis offerings and the Phanteks Evolv X2 is made to take things a step further with its brushed aluminum interior top/bottom accents, and “floating” mainboard design which is also compatible with rear connect systems. Phanteks has designed the chassis for both functionality, ease of doing a clean build, and purposely engineered vertical cooling system that allows for 3x 120mm fans in the top and bottom, or a 360mm radiator in the top area, plus a mounting option for a rear 120mm fan. The Phanteks Evolv X2 will be available in brushed black ($149.99) or silver white ($159.99) and includes integrated D-RGB lighting strips that run from top to bottom.

Per Phanteks:

“The Evolv X2 is more than just a chassis – it’s a statement that combines cutting-edge design, advanced cooling, and sleek hardware integration. For PC enthusiasts and gamers seeking both performance and elegance, the Evolv X2 sets a new standard.”

So, looking at this - the foot kinda struck me as odd. Not used to seeing a fully elevated case like this (maybe there are others, idk, but this is the first I've seen). Also those lower side-mounted USB slots, rather than being on top of the case.

The more I look at it, the more it grows on me.

I like the hidden cable look.... but not for me. Give me some solid left side of desk solutions or none. I'll stick with the case I have.

I'm sure, given the cheese grater, and other "innovative" designs, Apple is taking a hard look at this.

Riccochet

nice case, not very good for custom water cooling though

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
