Gameplay Performance
In the gaming performance below, we are comparing performance at 1440p, as this is the prime target resolution for these graphics cards. We are using an ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti for comparison, these are stock-clocked, reference-clocked GPU cards for the 4070 Ti SUPER and 4070 Ti. We are also using an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT reference card.
Alan Wake 2

In Alan Wake 2, we are running the latest version, which includes updates for DLSS 4 support. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti allows a playable gameplay experience at 1440p with the highest game settings at a smooth and playable 94FPS. If you enable DLSS, performance jumps up to well over 120FPS in this game at 1440p, which is very playable.
The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves upon the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER by 11% in performance. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves upon the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti performance by 19%. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 7% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT, which does remarkably well in this game, beating the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER in performance.
When we overclock the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti we get a 9% performance increase from the overclock, which is decent, this brings the native resolution performance up to 100FPS. With it overclocked, it is now 21% faster than the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, which does look better.
Black Myth: Wukong

Black Myth: Wukong is very demanding at Cinematic quality, even at 1440p. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, however, does not offer a playable experience at native resolution in Cinematic quality, it cannot hit 60FPS at native resolution. However, if we enable DLSS the game is very playable at 74FPS average. It is certainly more playable than any of the other cards here.
The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti ends up being 13% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and 21% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and Radeon RX 7900 XT. Overclocking the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves performance by 8% in this game. With it overclocked, it still cannot reach 60FPS, but with DLSS it is playable. Overclocked it is 22% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.
Cyberpunk 2077

In Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p and “Ultra” settings the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is very much playable at over 120FPS. Enabling DLSS further improves that to 150FPS average. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 21% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and 29% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. It is 10% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT, which does well in this game. It seems the new RTX 50 series 5070 Ti is seeing a bigger jump in this game over the RTX 40 series than other games.
When overclocked, the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves performance by 9%. With this overclock that brings the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti to 32% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, which is the largest experienced in this review today compared to the 4070 Ti SUPER. This game is an outlier, in that regard.
Dying Light 2

The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is very playable in Dying Light 2 at the highest settings at 1440p with 181FPS average at native resolution, you don’t need DLSS to enjoy it. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 16% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and 37% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. These are very good results for this game. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 49% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT, wow.
Overclocking the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves performance by 8%. When overclocked the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 25% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.
F1 24

In F1 24, the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is very playable at 212FPS. Interestingly, the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is the same performance as the Radeon RX 7900 XT, both produce the same gameplay experience in F1 24. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is only 3% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER however, indicating a possible CPU bottleneck in this particular game on the 5070 Ti. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 10% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, again we think CPU bottleneck.
When overclocked, the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves performance by 9%. This puts the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti at 13% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.
Horizon Forbidden West

In Horizon Forbidden West the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is very playable at 111FPS at native resolution 1440p, no need for DLSS, though with it performance is above 120FPS. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is only 7% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER though, in this game. Similar to F1 24, could it be a CPU bottleneck? The question must be asked. Compared to the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 16% faster. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 8% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT.
Overclocking the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves performance by 8%. With it overclocked, the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 16% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

In Indiana Jones the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti allows a very playable experience at 1440p Native resolution with Supreme quality setting configured. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 12% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and Radeon RX 7900 XT and 19% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.
Overclocking the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves performance by 6% in this game, that’s the lower side of other games we’ve experienced. When overclocked it is 19% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. Also interesting, the DLSS performance stays the same? That is odd, but that is our experience with the testing in the area we used.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

In Kingdom Come Deliverance II the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti allows a very playable gameplay experience at over 100FPS average in “Ultra” quality preset settings at 1440p. This means you can play at native resolution, without DLSS, though with DLSS the game looks great and performs even better. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 13% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and 24% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 33% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT, which did perform the lowest in this game.
When overclocked the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves performance by 9%. When overclocked the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 24% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

In Stalker 2, the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti allows a playable experience on the “Epic” quality setting at 1440p at native resolution, without needing DLSS. However, the game looks great with DLSS and that gives you even smoother performance. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is though only 7% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER in this game and 13% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. It again might be CPU bottlenecked, we do know this game relies heavily on the CPU. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 17% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT.
Overclocking the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves performance by 8%. When overclocked the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 15% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.
Star Wars Outlaws

In Star Wars Outlaws the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti provides a very playable experience at 1440p with Ultra settings at native resolution. With DLSS that’s even smoother above 100FPS. The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is though only 6% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and 14% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. It is 27% faster than the Radeon RX 7900 XT.
Overclocking the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti improves performance by 12%, which is on the high side of our experiences. With it overclocked the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is 19% faster than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.
