Overclocking ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition
To overclock the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition video card, we downloaded the latest version of ASUS GPU Tweak III from the video card support page. The version used is: 1.9.4.8, which supports the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU and the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition’s enhanced power delivery range.

The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition has a higher Power Target than most. The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition is capable of being pushed up to 30% more TDP, or 130% from the default 100%. This gives the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition ample of headroom in terms of TDP, limited only by the silicon itself, and Voltage. Speaking of Voltage, we can fully enable higher Voltage on the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition and push that up to 100% as well. In addition to enhanced overclocking range adjustment on GPU Boost Clock and Memory Clock, we have ample room to push the video card as hard as possible. We can also set up custom fan curves, or in our case, just leave the fans on auto, which worked fine since it cools so well.
By default, the GPU Boost Clock is set at 2662MHz. When we pushed the Voltage as high as possible, we found the highest stable GPU Boost Clock to be a setting of 2950MHz in GPU Tweak III on the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition. Without increasing Voltage, we got less, around 2900MHz GPU Boost, so adding extra Voltage actually did help here, and did allow a higher, consistent clock frequency while gaming, you can see what that is below.
On the memory side of things, the memory was also quite overclockable; technically, we were able to take it up to 31 Gbps on its own. However, to make sure we were obtaining the highest possible peak clock frequencies in this overclock (because we are not memory bandwidth limited here, engine limited instead) we opted for a smooth 30 Gbps on the memory overclock compared to the default 28 Gbps. This overclock pushes the memory bandwidth up from 448GB/s to 480GB/s.
GPU Frequency

In the above graph, we are running Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p, and this is a manual run-through. The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition has an out-of-box GPU Boost Clock of 2662MHz. By default, we can see that the frequency it runs while gaming falling between 2812MHz-2820MHz by default! That is actually quite high already, and is the fastest default clock we’ve experienced yet on an RTX 5060 Ti. The exact average is: 2813MHz.
When we overclocked it with max voltage up to 2950MHz GPU Boost, this pushes the actual in-game clock frequency up to 3110MHz and beyond. The clock speed was ranging from 3105MHz-3135MHz, yes, peaking at 3135MHz several times while gaming. At 3135MHz, this is the highest peak overclock we’ve seen yet on the RTX 5060 Ti. The clock speed is very consistent here and maintains a high level of performance. The exact average is: 3109MHz.
With this overclock at 3109MHz average, the overclock is 10.5% above the default average clock frequency out-of-the-box while gaming, so that is a nice overclock.

ASUS GPU Tweak III also offers two software button-press features with the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition video card. In the first screenshot, you can hit the OC Mode button and raise the GPU Boost Clock to 2692MHz and the Power Target up 10%. Or, you can hit the Silent Mode Button and reduce the GPU Boost Clock to 2632MHz and decrease the Power Target by 10% down to 90% max.
