Test Setup

We are using an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D for testing, and for 2025, we have upgraded our testing PC with completely updated components from top to bottom. We are using the motherboard’s current default BIOS settings on the latest release BIOS. We have enabled PCI-Express Resizable BAR in the motherboard BIOS. We have enabled EXPO I in the BIOS for the memory. We are using a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro with the latest Windows Updates, including the 24H2 update. We have the latest drivers installed, including the latest chipset drivers. We are using the “Balanced” power profile in Windows Settings, and Core Isolation/Memory Integrity (VBS) is Enabled.

Thus makes.me curious what the 5080 super will do with 24 gig of vram.
I agree, but I personally think the Vram "issue" is a tad overblown. It basically comes down to what resolution and settings you use as most of us know. My 5080 is paired with a 1440P monitor so it does very well there..
Bit i run a 4k and 2k screen and game on the 4k. If 24 gig of vram can loosen things up in 4k gaming that will be for me.
I also run a 5090 at 4K so I understand where you're coming from there.
