JONSBO has unveiled a very sleek-looking M-ATX case with the D200, which has options for a wide variety of builds, including large GPUs. M-ATX builds have become very popular in recent years as PC users seek to decrease the footprint of their systems while retaining as many features as possible of a full-sized build. Thanks to both case and motherboard (we have reviews of the MSI MAG B850M MORTAR WIFI and MSI MPG B850I EDGE TI WIFI as two good examples) manufacturers, this goal is often attainable for those who do their research and plan carefully. Thanks to its clean design, a case like the D200, said to launch on August 18th (per Guru3D) for under $50 in black or white models, offers much along the lines of configuration options and can keep things looking nice at the same time.

The D200 allows for graphics cards up to 410mm in length to be installed, meaning even the most gigantic cards could still fit. Those eyeing such a behemoth GPU still need to consider how thick the card is, along with slot placement on the motherboard, but many options are still available. Less-thick cards can be further cooled by installing 3x 120mm fans on the bottom portion of the case. Cooling options include up to 7x 120mm fans with mixing and matching either 2x 140mm, along with the option of using a single 240mm AIO on the top of the case. Unlike some other M-ATX cases, the D200 places the PSU in the more traditional bottom compartment of the case and supports standard PSUs up to 170mm in length. Ports on the side of the case offer the somewhat usual modern configuration with 1x USB3.2 Type-C, 2x USB3.0, and 3.5mm audio I/O. The front of the case features a stylish LCP display showing the CPU temperature (unknown if this can be configured for other readings).

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
