The KTC M27P6S is an upgraded version of the previous model, featuring twice the number of dimming zones and a new glossy coating. Currently priced at $636 and demoed at CES 2026, the KTC M27P6S is a premium 27″ dual-mode gaming display using Mini LED technology with some impressive specifications. This upgraded model has double the number of dimming zones of the original, going from 1,152 to 2,304, and now, per TFTCentral, has a 0% haze glossy “obsidian” coating for more vivid colors and deeper blacks. At 4K, the display is capable of 160 Hz, but when switched to 1080p, the refresh rate is doubled to 320 Hz. VRR Adaptive Sync is supported up to 320 Hz with a 1ms response time for fast FPS and minimized screen tearing.
The quantum dot IPS panel is rated for 99% DCI-P3 with ΔE<2 color accuracy and is VESA Certified DisplayHDR 1400, so whether gaming or watching media, visuals should be very crisp, bright, with accurate colors and impressive contrast. Color is 1.07B (8-bit+FRC). Connectivity includes a KVM port for controlling multiple devices with a single keyboard and mouse, USB Type-C supporting up to 65W PD and video over USB, 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, a single DP 1.4 port, and a headphone jack. Other features include an adjustable stand capable of raising the display to 130mm from the base, along with tilting, rotating, and swivel options. KTC offers a 3-year warranty and free shipping.

It’s not known if KTC intends to raise the price of the M27P6S, as it shows $1299 scratched out and replaced with $636, but at its current price, the display is being offered at a competitive price for gamers using consoles or PCs. Thanks to its multitude of current display ports, owners have choices for connecting multiple devices and controlling them via its KVM function.
