DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake Announced by Square Enix as DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake Gets Dated for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S Platforms

DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake, an updated collection of Chunsoft’s classic JRPGs that will feature vibrant HD-2D visuals, similar to the rapidly approaching DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch and other platforms next year, Square Enix and Nintendo have announced. The news comes by way of a new trailer that surfaced today for the DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake, which is now available for pre-order in various editions (including a Collector’s Edition) ahead of its release on Thursday, November 14.

The new DRAGON QUEST remakes include:

  • DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake (November 14, 2024)
  • DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake (2025)

DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake platforms:

  • PC (Steam, Microsoft Store)
  • Nintendo Switch
  • PlayStation 5
  • Xbox Series X|S

Nintendo on the DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake:
