THRONE AND LIBERTY Open Beta Testing Runs from July 18 – 23 Before Launching on September 17

Amazon and NCSOFT have announced that open beta testing for THRONE AND LIBERTY will run from July 18 – 23. The free-to-play MMORPG will launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 17. Titled “Welcome to Solisium”, the open-beta announcement also provides more details about the game.

“Our teams at Amazon Games and NCSOFT are excited to invite players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S into the world of Solisium next month in our Open Beta test from July 18 – 23, and at launch on September 17, 2024. We’re excited to embark on this adventure with players, and plan to share more details about THRONE AND LIBERTY in the weeks leading up to Open Beta and during our road to launch!”

Weapons

  • Sword and Shield – “Block incoming attacks and protect allies with the ability to drag enemies close or stun them as you push them away with brute force.”
  • Greatsword – “Incapacitate enemies with each strike as you swing, slash, and stun to deal heavy damage.”
  • Long Bow – “Immobilize enemies and deal greater damage from afar, while buffing your allies’ abilities.”
  • Crossbow – “Attack enemies at high speed from a distance to disrupt movement, while dealing continuous damage with two bows.”
  • Wand and Tome – “Leverage curses to deal damage, weaken enemies over time, and heal allies in battle.”
  • Staff – “Harness the weather during battle to summon lightning strikes or set enemies ablaze.”
  • Dagger – “Quickly take out enemies, dealing great damage at high speed with two poison blade daggers at once.”

Characters

  • Calanthia – A witch whose goal is to serve Kazar in her bid to seize absolute power
  • Yann Junath – A magic academy dropout committed to the resistance and looking after children orphaned after recent wars
  • Kazar – The incarnation of Evil who plans to conquer the world
  • Clay Cartair – A wizard seeking to protect the children of the stars from Kazar
  • Benny – A member of the resistance who uses his inside information to help others
  • Lottie – A jack of all trades in the resistance who serves as an instructor, mechanic, technician, and magical engineer
  • Captain Da Vinci – Loyal to his King and soldier but susceptible to the temptations of Evil.
