RETROREALMS: HALLOWEEN and RETROREALMS: ASH VS EVIL DEAD, the first two releases in a new series of video games inspired by 16-bit platformers and fast-paced arcade titles from the 90s, will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on October 18, 2024, developer WayForward Technologies and Boss Team Games have announced. The first, which appears to be one of the Halloween games that was teased yesterday, lets players take on the role of iconic slasher Michael Myers and other characters from John Carpenter’s 1978 classic, while the latter stars Ash Williams, the former supermarket clerk portrayed by Bruce Campbell who is best known for battling Deadites.

Both games will be available for digital pre-order individually for $24.99 each or can be pre-ordered together now in a physical Double Feature bundle at retail for $49.99. All game pre-orders placed before October 18, 2024 will also receive one additional fan-favorite character with purchase (Laurie Strode included with RETROREALMS: HALLOWEEN and Kelly Maxwell in-cluded with RETROREALMS: ASH VS EVIL DEAD) included as bonus playable DLC with their own weapons, story, and playstyle.
