Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the new action-adventure game from MachineGames and Bethesda Softworks that will allow players to take on the role of Lucasfilm’s popular archaeologist in a brand-new, world-spanning adventure that, while lacking Harrison Ford’s voice, features first-person whipping and more, is coming to the PS5 in 2025 despite having been introduced as an exclusive for Windows PCs and Xbox consoles, according to new claims that have surfaced online. The new game, which was originally announced by Lucasfilm Games and Bethesda in January 2021, is coming later this year to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass, where it will be available as a day-one title.

From a report:

  • “MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will release on Xbox & PC this holiday (Dec) as a timed console exclusive.”
  • “After this timed-exclusive window expires, Indiana Jones & the Great Circle is planned to come to PlayStation 5 in the first half of 2025.”

Bethesda on Indy’s latest adventure:

Set between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is a first-person, single-player adventure that will take you all over the world, uncovering clues and solving an ancient mystery. Become the adventurer in a race against sinister forces. Your journeys will take you from the hallowed halls of the Vatican and the arid deserts of Egypt to the lush and sunken temples of Sukhothai and the frigid peaks of the Himalayas.
