The Ryzen 9000X3D Series, a new generation of desktop processors that will pair AMD’s new Zen 5 architecture with 3D V-Cache technology for what will hopefully be substantially improved gaming performance, may debut this year, but only with a single model, according to new rumors that have been shared online. The news comes on the heels of a tweet from an insider that claims the new CPUs have been delayed to CES 2025, which is set to run from January 7 to 10 this year in Las Vegas.
Critics are saying:
- “Sad, will be really on shelves on October 2025.”
- “If it turns out to be the same nothingburger as the Zen 5 non-3D parts, I’m gladly keeping my 7800X3D.”
- “Way too long. Just picked up a 7950X3D instead. It had a great price too.”
- “Man. what a bummer for AMD fans. it’s all that they have to get excited about. I mean, they can always just buy Arrow Lake.”
