There’s never been a better time to try Kingdom Come Deliverance as Steam offers a steep discount and the opportunity to play it for free. The historically inspired open-world RPG medieval game arrived in 2018 and quickly gained the attention of the gaming community with its story and impressive graphics. Built using CryEngine it was known for its intense demand on flagship GPUs of the time. Since then strides have been made for both PC hardware and game optimizations making it much more enjoyable to play the game on modern systems.

Aside from being able to play Kingdom Come Deliverance for free this weekend, Steam is all but giving the game away with its discounts. Those interested can grab the base game at 90% off for just $2.99 but that’s not all as there are two discounted bundles available as well. For $1 more the Royal Edition can be had which includes all DLC, and the complete collection bundle that includes all DLC and other additional content is on sale for $6.96.

Per Steam:

  • “For a limited time, you can dive into the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance for FREE. From August 29th, 7pm CEST, until September 1st, 10pm CEST, experience the rich and immersive story of Henry, a humble blacksmith’s son turned warrior, in his unforgettable journey through the heart of medieval Bohemia.”

“But that’s not all! We’re offering the highest discount in our history – an 90% off Kingdom Come: Deliverance during this special weekend.”

Steam
  • “Whether you’re revisiting the game or experiencing it for the first time, now is the perfect moment to secure your copy and lose yourself in a world of honor, betrayal, and epic battles.”

Royal Edition Contents:

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
