Final specifications for Intel’s upcoming Core Ultra 200 series processors have been leaked online ahead of their October launch. Leaked specs include Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, Intel Core Ultra 7 265K, Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF, Intel Core Ultra 5 245K, and Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF models. At the top of the stack is the flagship Core Ultra 9 285K which has already had some of its specs leaked a few weeks back including a max boost clock of 5.7 GHz but we now know its maximum turbo power draw is 250 Watts, along with both Core Ultra 7 processors. Intel has opted to not release a KF variant of its flagship CPU, a version without its integrated Xe LPG architecture Alchemist GPU, but the remaining four SKUs in this stack do.

One thing missing from the leaked final specifications of these processors are details regarding the integrated graphics solutions for the “K” variants. Intel seems to have also enabled its Thermal Velocity Boost feature on all five processors, something that only Core Ultra 9 processors previously had access to. However, the current Core Ultra 5 processors do not feature Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0. It has been said that Intel could launch at least 16 variants in the Core Ultra 200 series but these five are now expected to arrive on October 24. Intel was expected to launch them on October 10th but, according to Benchlife, that date is now said to be used for their announcement instead.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
