Resident Evil 2, a remake of the original 1998 survival horror classic that Capcom first launched for PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs in January 2019, is coming to Apple iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, all iPhones from iPhone 16 onward, as well as all iPads and Macs equipped with M1 chips or later, in 2024, Capcom has announced. Players can expect to find not only support for Bluetooth-compatible controllers, but also some new gameplay features, including an auto-shooting option for those who wish to invest less in the combat of the game. Additional screenshots for the Apple versions of RE2, which are now available for pre-order, can be found below.

On iPhone and iPad, you can play using the touch controller displayed on the screen. An auto-shooting option has been added, and touch popups have also been adjusted, making it easier and more comfortable to play on a tablet device. It also supports Bluetooth-compatible controllers, so you can operate it in the same way as a home gaming machine.
