The GeForce RTX 5090, GeForce RTX 5080, and GeForce RTX 5070, three new GPUs based on NVIDIA’s latest “Blackwell” graphics architecture, will be announced at next year’s CES show, which is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas from January 7–10, 2025, according to the latest reports. The key specs for all three GPUs come by way of the @harukaze5719 account, with the 5080 and 5070 retaining the same memory capacity as the current gen, while some say there will be a few notable design changes, including a new PCB back-drilling process for improved signal integrity between the GPU and GDDR7 memory. A breakdown of the supposed specifications, including the power demands of the GeForce RTX 5070, can be found below.

…NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 GPUs will be making changes to the PCB back-drilling process to improve the signal integrity between the GPU and the GDDR7 VRAM. Additionally, the lineup was previously suggested to feature a 14-layer PCB and all cards should retain the single 12V-2×6 power connector interface with only a few top-tier RTX 5090 or RTX 5080 models going with the dual 16-pin connector route. Other than that, the cards should be fully PCIe 5.0 compliant and support DP2.1a with full 80 Gbps bandwidth support.
